Snow Day = Blueberry Cream Cheese Rolls + Tutorial

It's Officially a Snow Day!
This is what I made for breakfast...

Blueberry Cheese Rolls
gather your ingredients because here we go:
1 pkg. refrigerated sheet pastry
(pillbury has solid sheets, otherwise use the perforated crescent rolls and perform plastic surgery)
1/2 block of cream cheese
(4 oz. total)
2 Tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup blueberries
( frozen is fine )
drizzle of raspberry jam
( optional )
Then:
Preheat oven to a toasty
375*

We HEART Blueberries at our house!
Unroll the Sheet dough

Use a pizza cutter to cut into four squares.
Mix softened cream cheese with the sugar.
Fill each sqare with equal amounts of cream, blueberries, and then drizzle with raspberry jam.
Fold corners up and pinch together.
At this point you can brush with melted butter and sprinkle sugar on for a crispy crunch...
but you don't have to if you're watching
your calories.
:)
Bake for 11-13 minutes until brown and bubbly.
We also like to sprinkle with a bit of powdered
"snowy"
sugar for a great effect.
:)
Devour.

Happy Snow Days!!!
Trish

  4. Rebecca,
You must make some! You will regret it though! :)

    Rachel,
If you supply really good coffee and a short neck massage I might consider it! ;P

    Janice,
I am kind enough NOT to bring disgustingly good food to all those I work with! :) You can thank me....I think you are just bringing all that deadly sugary stuff to make all those skinny girls we work with from floating away! :) Hee hee hee...
