"BEFORE" ....You break my heart; where in the world is "AFTER"?!?!?

 Can I just say....my in-laws are Saints!
They have been slaving away up in my 7 year old son's new/old room for days and days off and on for the past few weeks.
It needed alot of help!
Let me back up a little to help you understand....
We live in a very charming 1913 Cottage Bungalow.
We remodeled most of the home when we moved in over 10 years ago.
We knew this room was an "extra" room that we had as we didn't have kids at the time.
We honestly left it empty as a "project" room.
I did all my painting projects in there, sanding, gluing etc....
did I mention the room is HUGE for an old house?
We didn't think much about doing anything with it until our two sons came along....and they've been sharing a fully remodeled room accross the hall.
So,
We had an offer of some help from our newly retired parents, and after much debating as to build a garage (which we desparately need too), finish the basement (oh yes please!), or get Tristan's new room up and running.....we chose our son first.....and I'm so glad we did.
He is SOOOOOOO excited to have his own space!
I love all the quirky things about old houses, don't you?
Random window above....what the?
This shows only half of the walk in closet.....yeah, I know....lucky kid huh?
Can't wait for bins here!!!
- Legos
- Train Tracks
- Baseballs
- Rotten food....uh....I hope not! We are at least 7 years from that stage....right???
;)
Our poor dog Olive is wondering what in the world could be going on in the newly aquired attic space we've found.
Yeah....40 feet long, 5 feet tall (sloped ceiling), and 8 feet deep!
Who knew?!?!
I know where all the Christmas Decorations are going now!!!
Oh yeah......and the unruly husband and children too.
Anyone have a small door with a padlock I can borrow???
:D

Have a great day....and when we are finished....I'll have to show you what we're up to in this room.
I think you're going to be astonished with how great it looks!
Cheers!
T.
