Coffee Time!

I had a nice day off today with no work and no kids. I did some basic things which needed doing...but when I was done with that....well....I decided to
BAKE COOKIES!
:D
 I baked just over 90.....yes I said 90!
Monster Cookies!
 Oh My....are they delicious!
Especially with a great cup of coffee from a fab retro pump covered in groovy flowers!
I must admit that I think between the cookie dough I devoured and the actual cookies eaten I'm sure it was
TOO MUCH!!!
But hey, when you have more than 90 cookies all to yourself....6 or 7 doesn't seem like much.
Unlike my Kokeshi friend....I didn't even look back!
I thought you might like to have the wonderful recipe which will steal your heart.
Just remember you can split this recipe in half if you don't have an entire afternoon to be baking.

Monster Cookies

1 cup butter softened
2 cups extra crunchy peanut butter
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups white sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
4 tsp. baking soda
6 eggs
9 cups oatmeal
2 cups M & M's candies
1 cup raisens (optional)

Cream butter, peanut butters, and sugars; add vanilla, soda, and eggs. Add oatmeal, M & M's, and raisens. Bake at 350* for 8-12 minutes or until lightly browned. (another side note, I think you can get away with using all one kind of Peanut Butter....I just LOVE the extra crunchy in this one!) Cool and enjoy! Cookie Monsters will devour with much delight!  :D

  2. These sound fabulous! I do notice that there isn't any flour in this recipe and how much oatmeal does it call for? Thank you ~ will give it a try once it gets cooler here to bake, was 104 today! Way too hot for baking! :-)
