We boarded at our local tiny airport on a somewhat rainy morning in the Beautiful but Wet Pacific Northwest...
It was time for the Las Vegas World Market
in Nevada.
We were lookin' forward to a little Sunshine!!!!
 Oh Yeah....we got some!!!
Not only outdoors....
 .....but indoors as well!
The photo above was taken in our Hotel lobby at the
This is Dale Chihuly glass,
isn't it gorgeous?
He's got a real following at the Bellagio!
They love his work there, and it's displayed all over the place!
We were also lucky enough to be staying there during the Chinese New Year Celebration time.
It was
the year of the
You've got to see these photos of the Botanical gardens there:
This photo was taken behind the check-in desk.
Don't forget to look down at the highly tiled mosaic is everywhere!!!
Oh yes, up to the room to drop off the luggage...on the 24th floor!
Nice to know I won't have to share a sink in the morning!
Bath? or Shower?
Well...on to the important stuff!
how about a Bellini at the Bellagio?
Looks and sounds good...sadly this one wasn't that tasty in comparison to those I get back home.
Oh well....there's so much more to do and see, I won't let it get me down.
Oh Yeah,
That's my mom and business partner in the background there; Jan.
Hi Mom!!!
Don't forget to keep looking in every direction!
There is something to see everywhere!
Ok, back to the botanical gardens we go....
Year of the Rabbit remember?
This bridge is so pretty with the red color and the rabbits all around.
Look at the size of this ship! Isn't it cool??
There were always people in the Botanical gardens, it's so refreshing....
a nice break from the casinos and the strip!
I fell instantly in love with the large trees of bamboo and these really lovely red hanging lanterns!
This Rabbit is made of grasses, and he's HUGE! Can you make out the persons legs in the background?
The Botanical Gardens get even better at night when the theatrical lighting is revved Vegas! :)
Finally, out we go! It's night now, and the lights are on everywhere!
Oh the fountains are so worth the trip! So pretty and the music is delightful! I loved this part!

Well here we are up in the Eiffel Tower!
But that is another blog post!
Let me just say this:
The fountains viewed from the Tower were spectacular and not to be missed!!!!
I'll see you with more soon!

  1. WOW, WOW, WOW . . . you lucky girls!!! Can't wait to see the Eiffel Tower too. Thanks for sharing these amazing shots!

  2. See...I knew you'd love it. Yes, the botanical gardens at Bellagio are magical. I love that big rabbit. Every time I've gone I've been with people that I can't get to hang around the gardens forever. I swear one time I'm going to go by myself so that I can spend hours in the garden and hours by the fountains. Last time I went all I wanted to do was sit by the fountains on an afternoon. But the person I was with...wanted to gamble and gamble and gamble. I find that extremely boring. So yes....I swear one day I'll go alone and really enjoy myself.

Can't wait to see more photos. I brought home with me last time a small souvenir of the Eiffel tower. I have a belief that you can't show something in your home unless it has personal meaning to you. I didn't want to have an eiffel tower in my home unless I'd really been there....well Vegas's version will have to do for now.

Your room looked fantastic. I've never stayed at the Bellagio....looks fabulous as I knew it would be.

I'm looking forward to more photos of your trip....

  3. well, its about time you posted!! I've been watching for days! So glad you got to be spoiled - looks lovely! I enjoyed dessert at the Billagio once - $12 plus coffee!!! YIKES!

Hello + Hello
I can't wait to hear from you!!!
