I am the mother of two rambunctious boys.
Tristan 7 & Elliot 4.
We have a very different view on Easter Egg Activities here.
Dye them "Camoflage!"
Stuff the plastic ones with water balloons and bugs...no really....bugs.
Candy is good....but "Flarp" is better.
Hide glow in the dark eggs and hunt at night!
OR>>>>
Hide regular eggs and hunt them in full Camo with night vision!
Who needs a basket? Stuff the eggs in a grocery bag.
Grass Stains on your Sunday Best = Number 1 Hunter!
They LOVE to:
Play hard.
Run hard.
Jump high.
Yell LOUD.
Laugh hysterically at bodily gas.
&
The best part about the whole
Easter Egg thing????
They know that it's just the fun extra part about this weekend...
Because,
THEY LOVE THE LORD!!!
...and know that the cross....and the empty grave are the most important thing.
WHOO-HOO!
My boys, are just that.....BOYS!!!
But,
they are learning to become men,
who
LOVE God.
That makes me
VERY HAPPY!
How about YOU?!?!
:D
Have an Eggstra happy weekend!
T.
Oh..my that makes me tired just reading about it. I can't imagine living with two rambunctious boys and all their antics. But I'm sure they are sweet boys under all the rowdiness.
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful. =)
ReplyDeleteNita, uh....yeah....now you know why I can't get to the "decorating" of Easter Decor the way I'd like to! :)
ReplyDeleteHowever, my boys are really sweet...and when in public, they are very well behaved. They are just silly really...and I was sort of a tomboy myself....so I REALLY like to throw stuff (balls/eggs) I love to race things that go fast...and I ADORE getting dirty outside in the garden! I think the Good Lord KNEW I NEEDED boys!!! I'm hoping for Granddaughters however!!! ;D
I am me....thanks so much! Happy Easter!!! :)
ReplyDeletehow sweet!sounds like lots of fun!
ReplyDeletei just hope it stops raining enough around here for us to hide some eggs :)
